You will experience a multi-disciplinary, collaborative evaluation and a personalized treatment plan, so you can have confidence in the depth of your assessment and extent of your care plan. Venn’s Intersected Program brings together a highly trained and experienced health care team for you. Venn’s proven model encompasses our form, function and fuel pillars of health.

This team will collaborate, communicate, and contribute together to help achieve your health goals. It all starts with our i4 Collaborative Evaluation, providing clarity and creating a personalized roadmap to recovery, and ends in your f3 Comprehensive Care Plan.

How is the i4 Collaborative Evaluation Structured?

The i4 Evaluation begins with one of our patient coordinators settling you into our boardroom. Following this, your health team will come in and discuss your health history and the intake questions with you. This is your opportunity to share what led you to our clinic, what treatments you have previously tried, as well as any symptoms and concerns you may have. Understanding your health experience helps our team isolate specific testing and investigations. At this point your health team will order any specific labs, specialized tests and make the appropriate referrals.

Next, we will begin your NeuroPerformance testing. The reason for this testing is to identify the underlying causes of the patient’s neurological problems. Our diagnostic testing allows us to precisely pinpoint the area of neurological dysfunction in our patients, enabling us to develop innovative and individualized treatment plans to address unique needs. This testing lasts approximately 45-60 minutes. After this we complete a comprehensive structural assessment to identify areas of concern that may interfere with your healing process. This section of testing lasts approximately 45 minutes, you can expect your whole evaluation day to last approximately 3-4 hours.

Following the testing, your health team will review the results from your metabolic, structural and NeuroPerformance testing. The team will design a customized treatment plan, built completely around your results, symptoms, and specific needs. We now have an action plan ready to be put into place – this is called your roadmap to recovery, this will be created within 4 weeks depending on the timing of lab results. Within 6 weeks a designated ‘quarterback’ from your health team will communicate a summary of the findings, in what ways they maybe contributing to your issues and how our roadmap to recovery is designed to address these in each phase.

Interview

We take a thorough history of not only your condition, but also of your entire life on a timeline. This allows

us to determine all the factors that lead to your problem, what has and has not helped so far, and what

other potential genetic, metabolic, immune, and psychological factors maybe impeding your recovery. Our

detailed history gives us insight into what we need to do to start making you better – the goal is to return

you to a vibrant and fulfilling life!

Investigate

Labs, Special Tests and Referrals: Our functional medicine doctors use a variety of metabolic tests

that are designed to gain insight into the root causes of your complex chronic illnesses. Instead of just trying

to treat symptoms, we are digging deeper to fully understand your illness and how we can best address

these underlying root causes. We may also refer you to outside specialists for further testing and evaluation

if needed.

NeuroPerformance Testing + Evaluation: In our examination we use cutting edge, gold standard

neurodiagnostic technologies to gain hard data on the function of your neurological systems. This shows us

the parts of your system that are working and the parts that are not. More importantly, our diagnostics

show us how well your systems work together, and when they fatigue. We will see videos of how your body

is responding in space, how your cognitive function is responding to different stimuli, as well as numerical

graphs and data that may explain your symptoms.

Structural Examination: This is a comprehensive physical assessment of your issue’s structural

connections. Our specialists practice manual medicine that incorporates many anatomical and physiological

details. By carefully reviewing the interconnected areas, we add vital elements to your clinical picture to

help map your path back to health.

Integrate

With your initial evaluation day complete and initial testing results back, your health team will meet and

review them together. We will use this information to design your personalized roadmap to recovery. We

decide on specific therapies, provide them at the correct time, and with the exact frequency and intensity

needed to generate the best outcomes.

Intervene

Your designated ‘quarterback clinician’ will communicate this plan to you so you understand what we have

found and what your roadmap to recovery will look like. From here, we move on to your treatment

program.
