Dr. Cootauco’s approach to care blends two therapeutic systems that work synergistically to restore health: naturopathy addresses functional issues related to metabolism, immune and hormonal dysregulation, while osteopathy addresses structural issues related to bones, joints, muscles, organs, and fascia. She is one of only three practitioners in Canada with these two designations.

She understands each patient’s unique health history and is committed to helping people with complex, chronic conditions where conventional treatment may be limited, including:

  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Lyme disease
  • Environmentally-related illnesses

Dr. Cootauco studied neurophysiology at the University of Toronto, then four years of naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, and recently completed a five-year program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy.

She completed her post-graduate training in the clinical application of Functional Medicine and genomics at the Institute for Functional Medicine and promotes a patient-centered, science-based approach to care.
